If you have furniture in your house, at all, it is more than likely that you have something that is upholstered. Just like carpet, upholstery is typically made from fibrous material that, unintentionally, does a fantastic job of trapping dirt and spills. Because furniture is made specifically for us to relax on, we should do all that we can to keep it clean. If you are needing your upholstery cleaned, let us know and we would love to come out and clean it for you.
The first step in cleaning your upholstery is to make sure that all of the big pieces of debris are cleaned up and out of the way. We do this by vacuuming your upholstery. In a couch situation, this means that we pull up all of your cushions, making sure that, even the spaces that you cannot see, are cleaned well. We will use attachments to make sure that we get in to all of the crevices and cracks; leaving no stone unturned. We will take our time to make sure that every inch of your surface is vacuumed well, so that surface level dirt and debris is competent eliminated.
After vacuuming is done, the next step is to wipe down parts of your upholstery that need to be treated. We will use eco-friendly cleaning solutions to make sure that surface level stains are picked up and soaked. This step is taken to see if we can stop at it. If the only stains that you have on your furniture are very light, surface level stains, than by using a rag and cleaning solution, we may be able to pull them right out. If we cannot clean, entirely, in this way, we will move on to a deeper cleaning, in steam cleaning.
Upholstery Steam Cleaning
Just like in carpet steam cleaning, upholstery steam cleaning uses super heated water steam to penetrate deep and break up enzymes that aren’t easy to remove. While vacuuming and wiping down upholstery can do a great job of removing surface level dirt and debris, these options cannot penetrate in to the actual fabrics of your upholstery. Steam cleaning, on the other hand, can do this. We will use special brushes that, when coupled with steam, can aggravate and break up even the most stubborn of stains. These can then be vacuumed up and removed completely.
Upholstery Stain Removal
If we are cleaning your upholstery and there are large stains on it, there are a number of steps we can take to fight these. We have special stain fighting solution that we can apply to your stains. We let this sit and this solution naturally breaks up the enzymes that create stains. After this sits and fights these tough spots, we come in with a steam tool and use that to vacuum up the stain debris. With our tools and experience, we can all but guarantee that your upholstery will look brand new.
